Once again flu season is upon us. We strongly advise all those in one of the at risk categories to contact the surgery now to arrange vaccination. The at risk groups include all patients 65 and over, pregnant women, residents of long stay residential care homes, patients with chronic conditions such as heart disease, diabetes, asthma (on regular steroid treatment), renal or liver failure plus more.
If you are unsure if you qualify as being in one of the at risk groups please contact reception to check. If you know you are eligible and have not already made an appointment to attend, please do so as soon as possible to prevent problems over the winter period.
