Hi I am Gill Fellows. I have been at Brookmill for over 16 years now and I love working with our fantastic team of staff and the people of Leigh. I have a special interest in womens health and training of junior doctors. As well as being a trainer for doctors who come to our practice for spells of between four months to a year I spend one half day a week training doctors based in hospital and GP practices throughout Ashton,Leigh and Wigan.
I relax by gardening, walking the dogs and meeting with friends and I also enjoy travelling and once a year I ski very slowly trying to avoid injury!

I am responsible for the Mum & Baby Clinic, which occurs on a Wednesday afternoon. I have an interest in family planning & I am trained to fit the contraceptive implant. I also have an interest in GP training & I supervise a GP trainee in the practice.
Outside work I enjoy keeping fit, reading, eating out & looking after my aquaria. My husband & I enjoy going out on our motorbike, travelling & socialising with family & friends.

Outside work I enjoy playing the guitar, watching movies & socialising with friends & family. I am an enthusiastic Manchester United supporter & attend matches whenever possible. I also enjoy playing golf & cooking for friends.

I have an interest in diabetes & family planning; I am trained to fit coils. I am involved with Practice Based Commissioning & GP training.
Outside the practice, I enjoy socialising with friends, keeping fit & supporting my local football team - Oldham Athletic.

I have recently moved to the north west, following relocation with my husband. I was a partner in a busy practice in the west of Scotland for 15 years. I have experience working in the health systems in Canada & New Zealand.
In my spare time I enjoy sports of all kinds; I enjoy watching football & I have completed several marathons.
The practice is also approved for training GPs. The trainees are qualified doctors who have to complete a placement in a practice approved for training. Some trainees will go on to become GPs - others are earlier in their medical careers & Brookmill will be involved in their general training.
Dr Fellows is the lead trainer, Dr Warner & Dr Clifford are also involved.
